YEMEN / SAUDI ARABIA

  • Government-aligned forces reported localised gains around the Kahbub heights, Marib and the Taiz–Lahj front. No recapture of Mocha, Dhubab, Perim or the Hanish and Zuqar islands has been reported.
  • Senior Houthi official Mohamed al-Bukhaiti warned other states against joining Saudi Arabia, saying the group can fight on multiple fronts and that attacks on Saudi Arabia will continue until the blockade of Houthi-held areas is lifted. He said the Houthis assured Washington, indirectly via Oman, that US vessels in the Red Sea will not be targeted.

IRAN / HORMUZ

  • Iranian parliament speaker Ghalibaf said the Strait of Hormuz will not reopen until all of Tehran’s conditions are met.
  • Ongoing areal activity above Iran and the strait of Hormuz.

PALESTINE

  • An Israeli man was killed in a shooting attack at a spring in the central West Bank. The IDF said it arrested the gunman.
  • The IDF and Shin Bet said they killed a Hamas militant who took part in the 7 October attack, along with two other Hamas members, in Gaza.

UKRAINE–RUSSIA

  • Ukraine launched over 1,000 drones at Russia overnight, with Moscow’s mayor calling it the largest-ever attack on the capital. Russia’s MoD said it downed 1,110, including 450 en route to Moscow. The Moscow Oil Refinery and a residential building were damaged.
  • Zelensky said the strikes used domestically produced Flamingo and Pelican missiles against oil and logistics facilities.
  • Three people were killed and 20 injured in Moscow region, per Governor Vorobyov. Two more were killed in Russian-held Kherson region, including an election official. Nine were injured in Belgorod.
  • A Russian drone attack on Kyiv region killed four, including three children. Drone attacks continued in and around Kyiv throughout the day.
  • Russia closed the final day of its State Duma elections.
